Hangar Flying Club

(Replacement for IMC Club)

If you are on the EAA Chapter 100 email list you will receive emails saying if there will be a monthly Hangar Flying Club meeting.  We plan to make these meetings similar to IMC Club meetings but use them to discuss both VFR and IFR Aeronautical Decision Making Practices.

Meetings might be hit or miss but we will try to continue to have meetings on the second Wednesday of each month.  If in doubt or to be added to this email list please send an email to President@EAA100.org

What do we hope to accomplish at these Hangar Flying Club Meetings?

It's about 15-25 pilots sitting around discussing our aeronautical decision making opinions about how we might handle challenging situations.  The idea is to gain knowledge from others by talking about potential piloting ADM situations and  listening to ideas of fellow aviators.  The intent is to create a community of pilots willing to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety, and build piloting proficiency.  The Hangar Flying Club will offer meetings in which pilots can network and share knowledge and experiences.

If you like "Hangar Flying" you'll like Hangar Flying Club meetings.

Thank you Dan Walker for volunteering to provide us with a very nice facility to conduct the Hangar Flying Club Meetings.

You may have to park on the street if there is a dance class starting or finishing.  Lots of parents dropping off and picking up their son's and daughter's.
